hard to follow but effective & real

I didn't have an event in three weeks, but I bought Jumpstart to Skinny because I was feeling/looking bloated and like I had recently gained 5-8 pounds. (I don't weigh myself because I get too upset over the number on the scale).

I very loosely followed it and feel I slimmed down. I did not cut my calories to 800/day. I think the key concepts: -work out or go for a walk before breakfast -drink two glasses of water with every meal and whenever you can in general -cut out the salt -munch on unlimited veggies made a big difference that I hope to incorporate into my life long-term. my tummy is not bloated now, and I feel a lot more confident in and out of my clothes.

I think I'll buy "the skinny rules" just to reinforce the concepts.

This Plan Isn't a Fad Diet and it Works!

i bought the Kindle version a year ago and lost 17 lbs in 21 days with no exercise. why no exercise? I have fibromyalgia and some arthritis.
I'm also allergic to nightshade foods (beans, tomato, peppers, peas, green beans etc) and potato, but was able to adapt recipes.
What was most helpful was precooking and freezing all chicken portions, pasta etc. Freezing roasted portions of veggies. Froze raw portions of ground turkey, and made lemon and lime juice ice cubes.
Because I live alone, its convenient for me to use some freeze dried herbs like garlic. I also have freeze dried egg whites (organic) and freeze dried spinach, cauliflower and squash.
since the weight has stayed off for a year, I bought the book for my granddaughter. We're going to do Jumpstart to Skinny together.
You're never hungry and the nutrition is sound!
